USING INNOVATIVE MATERIALS, PROGRESSIVE TECHNIQUES AND DESIGN THINKING WE AIM TO BUILD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN. TRANSPARENT, RESPONSIBLE, ETHICAL AND CERTIFIED.
We believe that the only way to achieve our goal is to start with a blank sheet of paper and a set of rules or protocols. These define and guide every decision and action we make from design through manufacturing and our business model itself.

First,
do no harm
BORROWING FROM THE HIPPOCRATIC OATH, WE BELIEVE THAT NOTHING SHOULD BE BROUGHT INTO THE WORLD THAT DOESN’T MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE.
Design for durability means designing to last. No annual cycles. Launches when products are ready and build to order. Recycled and reclaimed fabrics and insulations, vegan materials, waterless dyeing technology, GOTS certified organic cottons, PFC-free coatings, extended repair/replace warranty.
2.
The planet
matters
WE’RE NOT DESTROYING THE PLANET. WE’RE DESTROYING OUR ABILITY TO LIVE ON IT.
Fibers and trims made from recycled plastics take the waste from industry, post-consumer, the rivers and oceans. Dry-dye techniques reduce water consumption by up to 80%. Natural and plant based insulation materials with performance equal or better than down. No animal products, ever. PFC free DWR coatings.

Choose purpose over profit
We’re doing this because we believe sustainable products and fair working conditions should be a given, not a luxury. So we can all focus on what we want to do – enjoy nature and find freedom in the outdoors rather than destroying it.
We believe we don’t inherit the earth. We borrow it from our children.

Build from the
real world up
WE LIVE IN THE ALPS. WE KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE HIGH PERFORMANCE GEAR TO SURVIVE 100+ DAYS A YEAR HARD RIDING.
We believe form follows function. We design for movement with features adapted around the requirements of riders like us who spend 100+ days a year on the hill. Backpack and harness compatible pockets and venting. Pockets – lots of pockets. Designed to last and programmes for repairing, returning and up cycling or donating used items assist in building a circular economy.

Freedom, equality
transparency
IT SEEMS OBVIOUS WHEN YOU SAY IT, BUT IT’S NOT SPOKEN ABOUT MUCH. WE ARE ALL PEOPLE AND SHOULD BE TREATED WITH CARE AND RESPECT.
Factories and materials accredited under the Higgs Index, Bluesign and OekiTex standards for environmental and social impact including work place safety, conditions and human rights. GOTS certified fully organic cotton that covers production of the whole garment, not just the fabric. Transparency on future plans and a timeline to get there.

Question
everything
FROM AN EARLY AGE I’VE BEEN INQUISITIVE, FASCINATED WITH HOW THINGS WORK AND HOW THEY’RE MADE.
Our reliance on fossil fuels and plastics is polluting the air we breathe, the water we drink, the rivers, lakes and oceans. The fashion industry is responsible for 20% of the waste and pollutants responsible, and nearly 80% of water usage.
For too long they’ve been saying “enjoy nature”. Now it’s time to step up and save nature. We have to change the way we think about a product’s lifecycle, material usage, the social and ethical impacts of the supply chain, carbon emmissions and more.

Be nobody
There is power in being a ‘nobody’. Focusing on the job at hand and ignoring the desire for short-lived fame. Confronting your own personal challenges rather than the ideals of others. Playing the long game. Simply being. Smiling to ourselves because we know. We are nobody.
